A single-story residence on a slab with two continuous footing sizes. Footing lengths and slab area were measured from sheet S3, then converted to cubic yards of excavation, backfill and compaction. Two options were priced so the contractor could bid with or without over-excavation.
Every area, length and count is drawn on the plan in color. The legend below is what the client saw in the corner of each sheet.
