Two sets of eyes
The estimator who measures is never the one who signs off. A second estimator reviews every takeoff against the drawings and the specs before it leaves.
Turnaround is part of accuracy
A perfect estimate that lands after the bid closes is worth nothing. We quote a delivery date up front and hit it, and we say so early if a set needs more time.
Assumptions are labeled
When drawings are silent, we make a reasonable call and flag it. You see exactly which lines were assumed so you can confirm or strike them.
